We adopted our cat Molly one year ago this month. Molly was Paul's Mom's cat and she was so worried about what would happen to Molly when she died. We told his Mom not to worry about her, that we would work something out. Paul's Mom died and then our cat Shanana died a few days later and so we adopted Molly.
She has been a good cat. She loves the outdoors when we have good weather, but definitely hibernates indoors all winter. She loves to hunt mice, rats, and rabbits (unfortunately). She will sleep in a little box with a blanket in Paul's workshop if he leaves the door open.
Here she is coming indoors from the back balcony. We only let her out during daylight hours.
She is a well behaved cat. She is the first cat we could let wander the house at night. The other cats we've owned we had to confine to the laundry room because they would wake us up by meowing or attacking our feet while we slept. Most nights Molly will sleep at the foot of our bed and leaves our feet alone, or quietly goes off somewhere else in the house.
This is her at the top of the stairs. When you go upstairs she will race by you to get to the top first and then she will throw herself down in front of you so you will pet her. Silly Molly. Happy Anniversary, we are glad we have you.

Molly is such a good cat. I love the first picture of her in the grass with the flowers.
She's such a cute cat! :) That's so nice you guys adopted her!
What a nice home Molly has! :) Thanks for visiting our blog, and I love to come see yours too. We are sure grateful for Aunt Susie and Uncle Paul! We love you guys.
Molly is a pretty awesome cat. I bet she loves that there are no more dogs in the house, too. And that first picture of her sitting on the hill with the poppies is so beautiful!
