It has been wonderful having Melissa at our house. Scott has been driving cross country with dog Leo. We hope to have them drive in tomorrow. In the mean time, Melissa has had a chance to visit with friends.

Melissa's friend Jenna and her baby Brody came all the way from Japan to visit with us for a few days. Melissa and Jenna were able to go out on the town while I had fun baby sitting Brody.

Melissa, Jenna, and Brody visited downtown Poulsbo and the waterfront, even though it was a rainy, yucky day. We will miss having you around Jenna and Brody. Hopefully we will get to see you again in January.
Ryan surprised us by coming home unexpectedly one weekend. Melissa was in on the secret. It was nice to spend some time with him. Soon he will be Uncle Ryan!
We enjoyed having a visit by one of Paul's old missionary companions from Houston, Texas days. Mark was in our area and was able to join us for dinner and spent the night in our newly finished basement apartment. Mark is a great story teller and being a state patrolman, he has many fascinating stories to tell! He entertained Paul, Melissa, and I all evening. We all took a stroll down memory lane and marveled at how our kids are all grown up now.
