October 15, 2008 Saying Goodbye

October 15th is my Mom's Birthday and had she'd lived another month, she would have been 83  years old. Paul and I stopped at her grave site on her birthday and put some baby roses on it. Dad had already been there and put a bouquet of beautiful red roses in the flower container.  It was the first time we had seen the headstone and we thought it turned out very nice.  Good job picking it out Dad.  It is sure hard to say goodbye.

Monday October 13,2008

We drove from Rexburg to home in one day.  We stopped off in Ellensburg to visit Ryan and meet his roomate Christian.  They gave us a nice tour of campus.  I meant to take their picture before we took off but I forgot, so Ryan was nice enough to send me a picture of the two of them.  They  know how to have fun!

Sunday Oct 12th Church in Rexburg

Our last day in Rexburg we enjoyed going to church with Ryan and Nicole.  It was especially fun because my niece Darlene and her husband Greg are in the same ward.
Cousins Darlene and Nicole in the Relief Society Room after our lesson.
Greg and Darlene after church.
Only a couple months until they are on their way to California for Greg's new job.
Greg & Darlene with Nicole & Ryan
Such good looking couples.

The Bishop took a picture of the whole group of us.
Outside of Nicole and Ryan's apartment.

While we were all dressed up we decided to take some pictures at Ryan and Nicole's apartment.
Thanks for the great week Nicole and Ryan!
See you at Christmas.

Saturday Evening-Fun at the Wilder's

The Wilder's invited us over for a delicious dinner with their family.

Cindy and Terry Wilder, who started this whole family of fun.

Ryan snuck this picture of me when I was trying to video the group.
Paul and Jenny talking photos.
Taking a picture of sister and brother.
Ryan surpised his sister with an unexpected kiss.
Twins Jenny and Allie (Jessica actually has the same shirt too!)
Here we are being welcomed into the Wilder's family gathering.
This family knows how to have fun!

Throwing kisses!

Here is Grandpa Terry with Crew.

Here we are eating delicious Taco soup!
Thanks for the great time!

Saturday Afternoon Mother Daughter Luncheon

On Saturday they had a Mother Daughter luncheon up on the BYU-Idaho campus.
The first picture shows us  in Nicole's apartment before we headed out.
The weather was just right as we loaded into the car.
A sudden snow storm arose as we parked on campus and the wind blew the snow sideways into our faces.
The second picture is at the luncheon, which the mother and daughter across from us so graciously took.
We don't look too bad after going through wind and snow with no hats to protect us.

Friday Night-Dinner at Hard Hat

After going to Mesa Falls, we met up with my niece Darlene and her husband Greg and had a delicious dinner at the Hard Hat Restaurant.
They are famous for their scones and so we made sure they kept a full basket coming to our table.
Darlene and Greg will be heading to California in January so we will miss them when we come to visit Rexburg again.

Friday Afternoon-Mesa Falls

Nicole and Ryan took us to Mesa Falls.  This is my favorite picture of them.

When we got there it started to snow.

Nicole and Ryan make such a good looking couple.
I was too cold to take my hood off, so it's hard to see my face!  Fall is definitely on it's way.  Actually, it felt more like winter.

Yellowstone Wildlife

Paul dropped me off at Rexburg and then headed to Yellowstone to take some awesome pictures with his HUGE camera lens.
