My Dad's sister celebrated her 90th Birthday this month so me, my Dad, my sister, and her husband traveled to Colorado Springs to help her celebrate.
It had been about 9 years since Dad had last seen his sister Beth.
Auntie Beth's family planned a big party for her with all the family. Her grandson Jake helped her blow out the candles.
Here she is opening up her cards and gifts. I loved this bear card that she got.
Here is Beth with her children Steven, David, and Diana.
I loved the birthday tiara they had for her to wear. It's not everyday you turn 90 years old!
Here is a picture of me and Auntie Beth. I hadn't seen her since Ryan was born, so that was about 22 years ago. She is such a sweet lady and was such a gracious hostess.
This is a picture with me and my sister with Auntie Beth and all 4 of my "Wright" cousins, who all preside in Colorado.
We celebrated her birthday lunch at a beautiful restaurant in Manitou. Here is my cousin Dave with is adorable grandson Nicholas.
My sister Debbie and her husband Marshall.
My cousin Steven and his wife Carol.
Me and Dad.
The star of the show, Beth.
Carol thought of this wonderful idea of taking pictures of us holding rainbows.
This rainbow literally stayed in the sky for an hour!
I had never seen a rainbow last so long. Good catch, Diana!
Debbie getting in on the fun!
And don't forget Dad!
My cousin Dave got very creative with his picture!
Here is a beautiful baby girls quilt Beth made. She loves to quilt. We sure had a wonderful visit with all of our family in Colorado. We miss you and hope to see you sooner than the 30 years I had last seen my cousins!
