A Visit from Melissa & Soren

We were so excited to have Melissa and Soren come stay 2 weeks with us.

Soren's Nana is very fond of him.

Playing in Nana's kitchen with the bottle tops.

Sliding down the slide with Mommy.

He's not quite sure about this swinging thing.

Puttering around in the kitchen.

Sometimes getting into a bit of mischief.

Playing at the park.

Eating his first ice cream cone.

Playing with the trucks outside.

Playing basketball with Grandpa.

Blowing bubbles with Nana.

Watching the long horn steer and the mule.

Fascinated with the animals.

Pretending the duster is a vacuum.

The joys of watermelon.

Looking at Andrea's chickens with Nadia.

Eating strawberries out of our garden.

Helping his Mommy pick strawberries.

Helping Grandpa in the yard.

Always following Molly and saying "Meow".

He loves trucks and was excited to stand on the tailgate.

Playing in Grandpa's truck.

Sitting in Grandpa's yellow lawn mower.

Checking out Grandpa's red lawn mower. Oh, these big boy toys are fun!

Eating strawberries with Nana.

Playing with his truck in the dirt and rocks.

Helping Nana weed.

Climbing over the rocks.

Loving the outdoors.

Life couldn't get any better. We love you Soren and Melissa and we will miss having you around!

Oh, Susan. What a happy grandson you have! He's cute and mischievous at the same time-- all boy. I'm glad he came to visit you.

Thanks for posting these pictures mom. They are all so cute! All I could think when I see these though is of the sad scrapes and bruises he got today taking a nasty spill at Fort Worden. He has cuts on his nose, cheek and his chin is scraped pretty bad. When he went down, there was such a sickening thud that Dad and I thought for sure we'd have to take him to the emergency room for something. He cried for a long time, but seems to be fine now. All the pictures from our trip to Couer D'alene will have a pretty beat up looking face.
